Steve Nelson currently serves as the Director of Marketing, America’s, for Freescale Semiconductor. As a veteran of more than 25 years of semiconductor, software and technology industry experience, he has an extensive background in engineering, marketing and international business. He began his career at Texas Instruments in 1984 in engineering and software development, joining Accusonic Technologies in 2001 as Managing Director, SMSC in 2003 as Vice President and General Manager, and Freescale Semiconductor in 2007 as Director of Global Automotive Marketing. Steve has a BS in Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Texas at Dallas. He has published articles in trade journals such as EE Times, Embedded Computing, Design News, Electronics Weekly and EDN, and co-authored a patent on USB switching technology. Steve currently resides in Austin, Texas.

Bill Gatliff is a freelance developer and consultant with extensive experience adapting Linux and Android to custom hardware. His current projects include cell phones and other embedded systems, many of which are based on Qualcomm chipsets. He is a contributor to the myDragonBoard website.

Ryan Kuester specializes in producing embedded Linux operating systems and device drivers. He consults on several projects employing Qualcomm chipsets, developed key portions of the DragonBoard operating system.

Donnie Garcia is a Global Product Marketing Manager with Freescale’s Automotive and Industrial Solutions Group. He is responsible for Kinetis new product introduction from definition to market launch . As an active member of Freescale’s intellectual property (IP) teams, Donnie defines IP roadmaps and IP for new products, and conducts market trends and competitive research. Donnie graduated from The University of Texas in Austin with a B.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. His previous work experience includes over 11 years in the semiconductor industry as an Applications and Systems engineer where he developed microcontroller hardware and software in close collaboration with customers.

Ravel Thai has held several roles in product line management and business development with Freescale industrial multi-market division. His background includes 7+ years in embedded software and tools and he holds an MSEE from University of Texas in Austin.

Sujata Neidig is a market development manager with the i.MX ARM applications processor division at Freescale Semiconductor, Inc. She has close to 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry and has served in a variety of roles ranging from product engineering to various marketing positions. She has a B.S. Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Her current responsibilities include product management and business development for i.MX devices and targeted markets.
